Support During the Most Critical Times

Pregnancy is a time of great change for the body and massage can be an excellent tool to help manage the various sensations caused by all of this change.  Prenatal massage is also great for the growing baby--it helps increase circulation and thus improves fetal circulation and nutrition, and helps create a relaxed, healthy environment for the baby to grow in.

Immediately following birth, massage can help ease muscles sore from delivery and can help the body with its process of healing. Breast massage can also help in encouraging milk production, easing pain from engorgement, and helping resolve plugged ducts.  During the critical few weeks following birth, sessions to support lactation are given high priority in scheduling; short home visits for this may be available in West Seattle - please call to ask.

If you would like to learn more about these services, please contact us. All of our therapists offer pre/perinatal massage work and breast massage. Breast massage can be beneficial for lactation support.

Babies Welcome!  If childcare is keeping you from scheduling a massage, please talk to us about bringing your little one with you to your session.  Babies are welcome to accompany a parent to a massage.
